I was so excited to finally pick up this Tracy Reese 

top at Target on Wednesday!  There weren't tons of pieces of the Neiman Marcus collaboration that I really loved, but this was definitely one.  Call me cheap, but I knew it wouldn't take long for Target to mark the collection down so I just practiced my patience skills and popped in the day it went 70% off!  I mean, $23.99 for a $79 top?!  You just can't beat that!  And I couldn't believe how perfect my Forever 21 blazer went with it!  I'm 

sure you all aren't too surprised though; we Kentucky girls always have some 

great royal blue pieces in our wardrobe!  Go Cats! ;)

Friday's Fancies: Serious Sparkle

I'm feeling a little extra sparkly as I head into this mid-December weekend!
That's right!  It's holiday party season aka: an easy excuse to wear sequins and 
glitter every day of the week!  I'm not one to ever say no to a little sparkle so I was
thrilled when {AV} chose "Serious Sparkle" to be our Friday's Fancies theme this
week!  I couldn't wait to escape the more common sparkly items (dress, blazer, etc)
and go for one a bit more fashion forward at the moment.  I mean, what is better than
a crazy comfortable legging?! Oh yeah, one covered in fabulous sequins!!  I'm a 
little obsessed with this look and, honestly, I can't think of a Friday's Fancies post
that I've been this excited about!  Does this mean I'll be going shopping this 
weekend?  Someone better hold me back!  I'm ready to go! ;)

Isn't it hard to believe that Black Friday is already here?! 
 For Friday's Fancies this week we're commemorating the kick-off of the 
holiday shopping season with some of our favorite looks based around the color black!  Instead of creating an outfit for you today, I opted to find some fabulous black items that are just dying to be in my closet!  I really can't say enough about each of these pieces; I am literally obsessed with each one!!  My husband and I are both working today, so
neither of us will be partaking in any Black Friday shopping.  If, however,
I find that any of these pieces are greatly discounted, I might have
to consider shopping online! ;)

Friday's Fancies: 100!

                          

Happy 100th week of Friday's Fancies!!  

That's right, while this is only my 2nd week to participate in FF, {AV} 
is celebrating her 100th over at Long Distance Loving!!  What better way to celebrate than with a PARTY?!  So as you can see, I've put together my party best for you all today!!  This is truly an outfit I would love to wear!  I tend to favor the rule of keeping one half covered - either show your arms and cover your legs or show your legs and cover your arms.  This dress does the latter with precision.  I'm crazy over the jeweled collar so I opted to go for simple studs to balance the look.  WIth these simple accessories, a top knot hairdo, and a sweep of wine colored lipstick you'll 
be all set to party the night away!

I'm not gonna lie, I've been dying for a sequin beret since I first 

spotted Rachel Zoe wearing one seasons ago. When I was shopping in 

Target last week and spotted it, well, let's just say it was a magical moment.  

I love how versatile it is! It's just the perfect mix of both dressy and casual.  

Here I paired it with a comfy long sleeve tee and cotton blazer for a relaxed 

took.  It will also look great with just a basic tee and jeans on my next day of 

running errands.  And, I'm especially looking forward to pairing it with a great 

skirt and top for a dressier look!  Do you like to wear sequins? How do
