Seriously, you guys!  

My apartment is upside down from packing and 

preparing for a yard sale that we're hoping to sell pretty 

much everything we own in.  The internet hasn't worked 

at my apartment complex in a week. And I've been trying 

to get as much time in with friends and family before we 

say goodbye to Kentucky.  Fingers crossed, posting will 

be more regular from me next week and I have some 

fabulous bloggers lined up to keep you company during

Friday's Fancies: Winning In White!

Putting together a look for this week's Friday's Fancies really made

me realize the lack of white in my wardrobe!  I decided that if I were to

remedy this unfortunate circumstance then I would definitely need to add

a white skinny jean to the mix.  Paired with a few brights like this lace top,

 printed gingham shoes, and bold bag give a fresh, summery feel that I

 will be dreaming of wearing this weekend!  What white items will

Like I mentioned on Monday's post, my life has been so hectic!

Shopping has been completely on the back burner for the last little bit

as I've barely had time to think about what I'm wearing. Sad, I know!

So instead of looking at all the new Spring trends, I've been working 

on remixing the pieces I already have in my wardrobe.  From today's 
outfit you've seen the top here, the scarf here, and the skirt here.  
I love how they allcame together now to give an entirely new look!

So I'll just state the obvious: How incredibly gorgeous is this Michael Kors

 handbag?!  My sweet friend Hailey just got it recently and she was kind enough to let 

me borrow it for this shoot!  A bowler bag is my all-time favorite and in this perfect royal

 blue hue, well, it's perfection!  It's a piece like this that I really need to add to my little

collection.  Expect to see a handbag roundup here very soon: I'm feeling inspired!

This shirt has really just been a staple in my wardrobe.
You probably remember seeing it here and here - and don't expect this to be the last!
A great quality button up, especially in a classic print like a gingham or plaid, is such 
a versatile piece that everyone should own.  And probably in multiple colors! And patterns!
I am so picky about the fabric of my button up shirts which is why you'll notice that I don't have tons of them.  That is, however, totally a personal taste thing.  Find ones that speak to you and have fun pairing them with sweaters, vests, jackets.. well, just about everything!
