I had such a fun time doing a little shopping yesterday with my bestie, Lauren.
Our main mission was to find a dress and accessories for her to wear to a wedding 
next weekend.  We were very successful and hopefully she'll let me share a photo or 
two of the finished look afterward.  Please excuse my squinty eyes and the lack of 
photo quality in these pics - I was running late and forgot both my sunnies and my 
camera.  Thankfully, my trusty iPhone never lets me down!

 I was so excited to have enough chill in the air to

 add a blazer to my usual sweater and tank layering.

It's finally time to break out the tights!  

I wear them as much as I can during Fall and Winter - I just love them!  

They give another layer of interest to an outfit which is a key component 

of a completely executed look.  One of my most recent obsessions is mixing blacks 

and browns so these tights and boots will be making many 

appearances together over the next few months.  

And can we just discuss this nail color for a minute. 

 It is the PERFECT Fall color!  I am utterly and completely in love with it.  

It's dark but not too harsh. It's not really grey, purple, or brown - but some amazing

 combination of all 3.  This color will go with everything.  What do you think?

My boots are here and they are beautiful!  They are, however, tight in the calves.  I'm hoping they'll stretch out on their own over the next few wears or I'll probably have to take them to a cobbler.  I don't mind a little bit of bunching, but is this too much?  I feel like they look as if they need to be pulled higher on my legs.  The problem is, they won't budge.  What do you think?  Anyone have any experience stretching out boots they'd like to share?

  Aside from the tightness I am madly in love with them.  They are the most perfect color and the style is just exactly what I wanted.  Don't be surprised if eventually I follow after

 my friend Kristin and order them in black, too!  I can't wait for hers to arrive so 

she can post pics on her blog.

This leopard scarf is one of my most prized accessories.  I found it at Aldo last year for probably no more than $25 and I get so much wear out of it.  My absolute favorite way to wear it is all tied up in a bow.  Bows make everything better.  They give that perfect little pop of femininity!  If you haven't tried tying a scarf this way, I challenge you to test it out this fall.  You'll be surprised how it will make you (and everyone else) 

view your outfit in an entirely different way.
