I threw this outfit together yesterday to run out and
pick up a tri-pod!  My poor husband isn't always in the mood to
play photographer and while I often get great help from friends (thank
you Ricky, Hunter, & Carrie!!), I need to be able to fend for myself.  So
if all goes as planned, tomorrow will have an outfit post with myself
as the photographer!  I'm basically going to need all of you to be
crossing your fingers on this one! ;)

Do any of you use a trip-pod and take your own pics?!
Any and all suggestions are welcomed!!

Also, we've made it to the last 2 days of
the His & Her Giveaway!  Don't miss out on the adorable bow tie
set made by Star from Beauty & Bows!

  4. Yay for red+leather+leopard! Great minds think alike. :)

That clutch is just adorable! I love the idea of clutches but for my day-to-day I never think to switch!

Hope your week is going well sweet girl! I almost bought a tri-pod but then wasn't sure how hard it would be to do by myself. I'll have to get your thoughts then go from there!

  5. girl, you look fierce in that first photo! i use a tripod, but i take my photos on my iphone. i use a little remote and a self-timer app called camera+ that makes it super easy. i wish my tripod were taller, but it bends, so i just stick it on my car, trees, fences, whatever's nearby.

i usually take a couple, then run over and see how the lighting is/if the camera is angled the way i want, and then run back. the hardest thing for me, because my tripod isn't tall, is shooting flattering angles because the things i attach it to are usually higher or lower than another person would be.

my other advice is to make sure you still get those 4 classic shots! (full body, detail, upper body, lower body)

but back to your outfit, you look hot.
