Designer Spotlight: Elaya Vaughn Bridal

It's no secret that I have a little huge soft spot in my heart for Project Runway.  Although Tyler and I have cut back drastically on our TV watching so I've missed the last season or so of the show, I'll definitely be tuning in tomorrow night to catch my girl Kate Pankoke do her thing on All Stars!  As nice as she is gorgeous, Kate is sure to kill it this season and I'm really hoping that she'll finally take home the grand prize.

You may remember that around this time last year I had the pleasure of meeting Kate at New York Bridal Market and was so impressed with both her and her bridal line, Elaya Vaughn.  Her work is beautifully constructed and it's designed to fit a feminine aesthetic perfectly. I loved her collection last year and this year's collection, Behind the Gilded Veil, is not letting me down at all!  The looks are a little softer but equally as delicate with beautiful details including her signature off the shoulder drape sleeves. Take a look at my top dress picks from the 2015 Elaya Vaughn line..

You can see Kate on Project Runway All Stars every Thursday starting TOMORROW at 9/8c on Lifetime!

Wedding Style: Elaya Vaughn

I know some of you are Project Runway fans, right?!  Well then, I'm sure you recognize this lovely face!  For those of you that aren't PR obsessed like me, this is Kate from seasons 11 & 12.  While she might not be taking home the grand prize during tonight's finale, this girl has some major things going on right now! I had the pleasure of going to New York International Bridal Market this past Sunday with the formalwear company I work for. After browsing the never ending aisles of wedding fabulousness, I finally came across the Elaya Vaughn Bridal line which is designed by none other than Kate Pankoke herself. I just had to go introduce myself and, you all, she is one of the sweetest people ever! After talking Project Runway (she had nothing but positive things to say despite her elimination!) and viewing some of her looks, I knew that I had to share the love of her line with all of you.

Take a look at these incredible looks I hand picked from her line just for you!  Brides, if you're looking to get your hands on an Elaya Vaughn dress for your special day, this is where you can find one

Friday's Fancies: Nice + Neon

Nice + Neon on Opal & Violet
Dress // Bag // Shoes // Ring // Earrings

With wedding season basically here, I decided to devote this week's
neon Friday's Fancies theme towards styling a pop of crazy color into
a wedding appropriate look.  I quickly fell in love with this Jessica Simpson dress
with its perfect shape, pretty print, and ombre neon effect.  By sticking with simple silver toned accessories this look becomes tame enough to wear to a fun
Spring wedding!  Do you have any weddings to attend soon?
Would you add a little neon to your look?

Have a wonderful weekend everyone!!

3 Years!

Three years ago in a public park in downtown Lexington
with our closest friends and family as our witnesses, Tyler
and I were married.  It's been a joyous three years and I
can't imagine my life being any sweeter.

Happy Anniversary, Tyler!  I love you!!
