You all remember how I was on the hunt for a new watch on this post
last week, right?  Well low and behold I found the gorgeous gold and tortoise
shell watch featured today on clearance!  Isn't it so fabulous?!  I quickly snatched it up
with the intentions of it being a hold-me-over until I can make up my mind on my next
investment watch.  Who knew picking one could be so difficult?!  So now I might
totally have a new love for tortoise shell!!  I'm already eyeing a new phone
case in the super classy design! Oops! ;)

Did anyone get out and do a little shopping this weekend?
I did and let me tell you, I was not at all prepared for the immense amount of
holiday shopping that was going on.  I can shop with the best of them, but I'll be honest,
I may not head towards the shopping centers again until after the holidays!  The one
bright spot in my shopping was when I made my trip to Versona Accessories.
You guys, that store is so great!!  I picked up a couple new necklaces, earrings,
a handbag, and a laptop case!  Check out tomorrow's post to see a couple
of those fab new items!  Have an awesome week!

It can be really hard to look chic on a rainy day.
Today was no exception as the morning started off quite rainy and gloomy
here in Central Kentucky.  I turned to some of my trusty rain weather accessories
to help me through the day - and to add some necessary glam to an otherwise day in the
fashion dumps.  Do you own a great pair of rain boots?  I've had these fun polka dot
ones since my college years (seriously, has it already been more than 4 years since I
graduated?!).  I'm crushing on several other pairs (some of which are listed in the links!)
but never seem to buy new ones because of how long these suckers last!  If you don't own
at least one pair, make sure to add them to your list for your next shopping trip!  You have
no idea how much better a rainy day can be until you've conquered it with dry feet!
Add a fun umbrella that fits your style and personality, and you're all set for
a glamorous rainy day!
