Dress: T.J. Maxx // Earrings: H&M (old)
Bracelet: Forever 21 // Shoes: Audrey Brooke (old, DSW)
Meet Sarah.
Sarah is a coworker of mine who asked for my help styling
her for her Senior Dinner Dance. Senior as in high school: I bet you
didn't see that one coming!! Anyway, she came to me with this adorable
dress from T.J. Maxx that she'd picked up with the assistance of our friend
(and my frequent blog photographer) Hunter. [I wish I'd planned on doing
this post when I was actually getting her ready and taking the photos because
there are some great details that I missed like the back of the dress.
Just imagine lots of lace and a killer zipper!]
It was easy to pull these amazing oversized pearl earrings
from my collection to go with her look. They gave such a bold pop in a
classy yet edgy way. I didn't want the look to be too sweet by adding more
pearls in a bracelet, so I added the gold and cream oversized chain link bracelet
that my friend Megan gave me for my birthday. We then popped on a champagne pump and she was set! I think the dress & accessories really worked
with the hair and makeup look I gave her, too! Overall, she
not only looked incredible but, more importantly,
she felt incredible, too!
